For some time now, I have been equipped with the Pliko Mini stroller from Peg Perego, and I wanted to share my discovery after more than a year of use. This model has met my expectations regarding lightness and practicality, while providing the necessary comfort for my child. Through this article, I will tell you about the different facets of this stroller, which are just as interesting as they are useful on a daily basis.
Why choose the Pliko Mini?
When it comes to choosing the ideal stroller, several criteria become important. For me, lightness and the ability to fold easily were determining factors. Indeed, after trying other bulkier models, it was clear that I wanted a stroller that was practical to transport, especially during our car trips. The Pliko Mini immediately caught my attention with its features. Its value for money also impressed me, as I had a limited budget for this additional purchase.
Design and comfort
The design of the Pliko Mini is one of its strong points. With both a wide and long seat, it offers great comfort to my little one, especially during naps. Thanks to its reclining backrest in three positions, my child can settle in comfortably, allowing me to enjoy a few moments of peace during walks. The canopy, generously sized, effectively shields from the sun while being easily adjustable. Moreover, its construction in aluminum allows the stroller to remain light, weighing only 5.7 kg.
Handling and practicality
In terms of handling, this stroller is quite simple to use, although I find it may be a bit less easy to steer with one hand. Indeed, when I have one or two bags to carry, it is sometimes difficult for me to maintain control with just one hand. However, it is good to note that having two handles makes it easy to hang bags. As for the folding system, it is simply fantastic! In two seconds, the stroller folds and stores away, which greatly facilitates changes in mode of transport.
Points to improve
Of course, no product is perfect. The basket under the seat, although sufficient for small items like a few toys or a coat, proves to be less accessible for larger items. Easier access would have been desirable. Additionally, the stroller is more suited for urban use than for all terrains. Outings to the beach caused a few inconveniences, but fortunately, the simple structure of the stroller limits sand accumulation in inaccessible corners.
Real-life testing
Among my family and friends, I have had the opportunity to introduce this stroller. Everyone could appreciate how manageable and comfortable it is. Furthermore, having friends with older children allowed me to realize how crucial it is to opt for a quality model. On several occasions, during our outings to the park, the fact that my child could easily fall asleep in the stroller made all the difference.
Outing anecdotes
I remember an outing to the zoo, where the Pliko Mini was put to the test. After a few hours of visiting, when all the children were tired, mine directly plunged into a deep sleep, calmed by the gentle rocking of the stroller. This allowed me to enjoy a good time with friends, savoring a coffee while the little one rested peacefully, comfortably settled. These moments of calm have become precious in our often hectic schedule.
